Training
Other than the public courses we offer, we deliver training in 2 basic formats: Group and 121. Group trainings are typically for half a day or more if they are courses on discreet topics or we can set up a series of courses or design a long term development program over a number of sessions spread out over several months, a year, or longer. The 121 training usually takes place as 1 hour sessions once a week for several weeks (our standard programs run for 8 weeks). We are experts at working with you, not just to learn new ideas but to embody new skills and abilities.
The advantages of group training are:
- Economy of scale – you can train more people at once
- If you have 4 or more people you want to train in a given topic then it is more cost effective
- You establish a baseline of skill within the group that attends the training
- You establish a ‘shared language’ within the group that attends the course
The advantages of 121 training are:
- We can tailor the training to individual needs more
- It is typically cheaper than sending one person on an open course with one of the large national training providers
- Where the training takes place over several weeks you get to learn a bit, go away and test it, then come back and learn a bit more
- You are supported to embed the learning within your life
- You can fit the hours in around other things rather than having to take a big chunk of time out all in one go
Whichever method of training you employ, at Fudoshin Development we believe that long term problems need long term solutions so whether the training solution you choose is spread out over time or not you do need to be prepared to work at it over time if you want to see real change. This kind of long term, real change is our passion and our speciality.
There are currently 2 standard courses we offer in Brighton and London as 121 training packages:
