Stress Management - Brighton
From the first session of this 8 week, 121 training course you will learn techniques that will help you stay more grounded and centred in you life so you can face the challenges in your life with greater effectiveness and grace.
The modern world can be a stressful place and most of us are balancing multiple roles as professionals, partners, friends, and parents. When you add in the attention and work required for each role and in each environment, it's no wonder that we can find it difficult to find our centre at times. This course will equip you first with tools and techniques to manage your stress straight away, then with practices to unwind some of the patterns of stress that have accumulated over time. You will then move towards building ways of being that will support you in sustaining a happier and more balanced life long term. While you will learn some theory so that you come to understand stress factors and your response to them better, we will mainly work with physical techniques and biofeedback.

- Being grounded and centred
- What happens in the body - the physiology of the stress response
- Practices for de-stressing the body
- Using biofeedback to create a ‘flow state’
