Spiritual Exploration
This is a short course to explore some of the things I consider to be central to a spiritual and meaningful life. They are core themes which draw in and allow us to touch on a range of spiritual traditions but there a re echoes of these themes in all spiritual traditions.

The course runs one evening a week for 7 weeks in central Brighton (although I could run it as a 2 day workshop at request). Each evening session will normally last about 2 hours.
The themes we will cover are:
- Dialogue on the nature of spirit and meaning
- Polarity - Yes and No - Yin and Yang - Taoism
- Triads - Choice and freedom - Buddhism
- The 4 Elements - Connecting with the world around us - Shamanism
- Gratitude and Remembrance - Sufism
- Blessing - Unconditional Love - Christianity
- Endings
My intention is for there to be an opportunity to explore these core themes in an experiential way, to build an awareness of different spiritual traditions and how they interconnect, and perhaps through this to allow a possibility for healing of the negative stories we may have about the various spiritual traditions. They all have the potential to nourish us and there are as many paths to God/Goddess/Buddha-Nature/Spirit/meaning as there are people. Alongside this, there is a core of personal development as it is my conviction that if we aren't developing as human beings then we can't really develop as spiritual beings.
This is for you if you are a spiritual 'old hand' who wants to enliven your current spiritual practice with some other perspectives, or if you are new to spirituality and want to explore what a spiritually informed life has to offer. Hopefully, you will learn as much from each other as from the course.
For upcoming dates when the course will be running see the events calendar.
